Koenig Storage Silos

Koenig offers 3 types of Storage Silos and extraction system. Aeration air is supplied through a set of dedicated Positive Displacement Blowers and the Standard accessories include Over / Under pressure relief valve, man hole doors.

Conical Bottom Steel Storage Silos

Koenig offer steel silos for smaller capacity up to 1000 MT with central outlet and the conical portion is mounted with Koenig Aeration pads. No of Aeration pads depends upon the steel silo diameter and withdrawal capacity.

Typically, the conical bottom is mounted with Koenig Manual Slide Gate as maintenance gate followed by Aerated junction box, Koenig Flow Control Valve and PneuSlide system.

Inverted Cone Storage Silos

Koenig offer the most efficient silos for storage and dispatch of Cement, Fly Ash, Alumina, etc.,

The central cone is used to accommodate the necessary machinery and equipment such as Aeration fan, blowers, filters, electric control cubicle, and all silo extraction gate system.

Silo internals are fixed with Koenig Aeration pads closely to ensure better than 99% withdrawal or less than 1% dead stock.

Each outlet is provided with Manual Slide gate followed by Koenig Flow control valve to ensure smooth regulated material withdrawal from each outlet.

  • ​Standard Silo sizes are ⌀14m, ⌀16m, ⌀18m, ⌀20m, ⌀22m which can cater up to 15000 MT storage capacity.

Flat Bottom Storage Silos

Koenig offers also Flat Bottom Silos where the civil construction capabilities are very limited. The complete inside surface of the bottom slab is mounted with Koenig Aeration pads and the withdrawal from Silo center. The main advantage of Flat bottom silo is less number of extraction gates and thereby less maintenance.

The central outlet is provided with Manual maintenance Koenig Slide gate followed by aerated junction box, Koenig Flow control valve and PneuSlide system as per the plant layout.
